The activities of the “Cultural Capital of the Turkish World” began in Shusha, the apple of Karabakh’s eye, which was liberated by Azerbaijan.
In the city, where traces of the Armenian occupation have been erased, history and culture come alive. Now, instead of gunfire and mine explosions, folk songs of the Turkish world are heard from Šuša.
As part of the event, different tastes from Turkish world cuisine were offered. Turkish cuisine was presented at the stand opened by the city municipality of Bursa.
The title of “Cultural Capital of the Turkish World” for 2023 was transferred from Bursa to Shusha, one of the most important centers of Azerbaijani culture and art.
